I am the daughter of Neville Carson who is the focal point of Carson’s Camera goes to War. I completed my Honours Degree in History and Environment at the University of the Sunshine Coast. This book started as a 5000-word paper, as part of my degree. The writing of this book has been very rewarding and with a sense of accomplishment. During my undergraduate degree I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, but it was never going to be a barrier and still isn't.
I moved to Beauty Point Tasmania from the Sunshine Coast Queensland in 2018 with my husband Rob. We have two adult children Luke and Jasmin both are living on the mainland.
Other written works include:
My Thesis- Brisbane Markets from 1859 to 1890 focus on how Brisbane developed a food market. This was a focal point of the Brisbane Markets History Room.
ABC Radio Sunshine Coast - Walking Tour of Palmwoods - highlighting that the man who shot down the Red Baron in World War 1 enlisted at Palmwoods.
